Our Upper Elementary students put on a morning of music last week, with various performances showcasing our students’ different talents in the performing arts! Our Grade 3 students visited our Science Park campus to attend, along with caregivers and faculty.

The morning kicked off with a vibrant performance by our Grade 4 and 5 ASA Choir, who captivated the audience with their selections from Sing-Up, including a song with the Grade 3 choir!

Next, the ASA Orchestra took the stage, enchanting everyone with selections from beloved movie soundtracks, including hits from Madagascar 2 and the iconic Harry Potter series. The Choir rejoined our musicians onstage to perform "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman. This powerful collaboration highlighted the unity and passion of our student musicians, inspiring dreams of creativity and artistic expression.

Following this, Grade 4 presented "Compose Yourself," a unique musical that brought great composers from history to life. Through engaging performances, students learned about each composer's legacy, featuring a musical composition, "Ode to Joy," a rap, and even a waltz. The production was a fun way for our students to learn about some of the legends of music history and share their learning with us.

The theater lobby also featured some of our students' visual art pieces! Paintings, drawings, sculptures, and more were on display for everyone to view and enjoy.

The event was a celebration of the arts, showcasing the diverse talents of our students. Every performance highlighted their hard work and passion for music. We are proud of our young artists and look forward to their continued growth and creativity in the arts!
