The Return of EdTechGZ: Transforming Education
EdTechGZ is a testament to our AISG vision: “setting the standard for creating unique, transformative learning journeys that will forge a globally connected community”, taking innovation to the next level, and leading the way within the education industry!

Saturday marked the return of EdTechGZ, our annual free educational Innovation and Technology conference, which hadn't been held in-person since 2019 - and we celebrated 10 years of hosting this event! We were thrilled to have 250 attendees from 40 schools across Guangzhou and the Greater Bay Area attend, present, facilitate, and organize the event - making it an incredibly successful morning of learning, sharing, and networking!

The focus point of the conference was to share and discuss ways in which technology and design innovation have been used in classrooms to support education. This year’s topics included Bringing STEM into Your Classroom, Encouraging Kids to Code!, the Impact of AI on Education, and Immersive VR Content and STEAM.

Teachers shared specific projects, lessons, and activities that they conducted in their classrooms that showcased how they used technology and innovation as a teaching tool. The event also featured sessions from technology companies such as Apple Edu, SeeWo, and Fortinet. There was great discussion, as well as the opportunity for people to try different hands-on technologies, such as VR and VEX Robotics.

It was a great success and we're thankful to have such an exemplary Innovation and Technology team at AISG who organized the event and help our faculty, students, and staff every day! We couldn't do it without them!

We also want to thank our sponsors: Titi-Apple Education Specialist, Apple Education Specialist, CN Care, Wafer Systems, MeiCheng, Palo Alto Networks, ChunCao, Sungoal, VEX Robotics, TeraTeams, and SeeWo!
At AISG, we place an emphasis on using technology for creation over consumption. By giving students agency in their learning and promoting a maker’s mindset, teachers ensure every student is an empowered creator. Read more about the innovation initiative.
