Shining Star Teaching and Learning Workshop

AISG celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2021, and with that, we developed our Strategic Vision Framework that will guide us for the next 40 years. The framework identified four strategic priorities:

One priority that we would like to highlight today is training and consulting. Our goal is to be a leading center of international education, recognized locally, regionally, and globally as a thought leader in curriculum, teaching and learning, and student experience.

From our established partnership with Summer Tan and her non-profit service organization, Shining Star Foundation, AISG hosted 28 Elementary teachers from rural areas in China last week. One of our Elementary teachers led an international education workshop, focusing on inquiry-based learning and how sharing and reflecting are vital parts of learning. Visiting teachers also had the opportunity to visit classrooms and observe our students and teachers during their classes.

Along with our AISG Training Center, which is now in its second year, AISG is delivering on this strategic priority. We are growing and learning together along with our own educators and leaders in the education industry. Stay tuned for more updates over the school year on our strategic framework!

From our volunteer board members, to our dedicated faculty, to our supportive parents, to our hard-working students, there is a sense of connection and community. We all work together to continually improve AISG--to make it the best that it can be. Click here to learn more about AISG's Strategic Direction.
