Why ImpactGZ?

ImpactGZ 2025 is where students, educators, and partners co-create community service solutions through hands-on Learning Strands. Every Learning Strand is a deep dive into partnership. Today, we highlight two more partners breaking barriers—Flow Farm, where humans and animals bond to nurture peace and harmony, and Guangzhou Accessible Sports Association, championing disability inclusion through sports.

🐴 Flow Farm

Well-Being Through Nature (on-site strand)

Who they are: Flow is an experiential farm and animal sanctuary with a simple, heart-felt mission: to provide a nourishing environment for humans and animals to express themselves freely and to nurture love and respect for the natural environment.

What your workshop will include:

🔹 Meet Tintin the Rescue Dog – Learn his inspiring survival story and practice mindful animal interactions.

🔹 Nonverbal Animal Encounters – Play an immersive game where you embody rescued animals and explore their past lives.

🔹 "Animals Are Speaking" Advocacy Workshop – Step into an animal’s perspective through meditation, storytelling, and action planning to protect their rights.

♿ Guangzhou Accessible Sports Association

Sports for All (on-site strand)

Who they are: The first organization in South China to promote adaptive sports, founded by athletes with disabilities and allies. They train volunteers, host tournaments, and advocate for inclusive infrastructure.


What your workshop will include:

🔹 Blindfolded Empathy Challenges – Experience daily tasks (drinking water, navigating by sound) to understand visual impairment.

🔹 Guided Running Training – Learn how to support blind runners, inspired by a marathon athlete’s journey.

🔹 Reflection & Action – Brainstorm ways to make communities more inclusive through sports.
