How AISG Grade 5 Students Turn Inquiry Into Impact
The PYP Exhibition, or PYPx, is the culminating experience of the IB Primary Years Programme. At AISG, Grade 5 students use it to research real-world issues, deepen their understanding, and turn learning into meaningful action.

Throughout the year, students explore topics they care about, from ocean pollution, climate change, and endangered animals to artificial intelligence, mental health, bullying, human rights, and gender equality.

Each project begins with student curiosity, but it grows into something bigger: research, reflection, connection, and purpose.

A defining part of PYPx at AISG this year is the emphasis on action: not only raising awareness, but helping students identify tangible steps within their own control so they can exercise agency and see the impact of their ideas in real and meaningful ways.
That is what makes the PYP Exhibition so powerful.

At AISG, this process is not only about presenting what students know. It is about helping them ask better questions, think more critically, and understand how learning can connect to the world around them.
As students develop their projects, they build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and begin to see that their ideas can have real impact.

This is where The AISG Impact can be seen so clearly.
Impact is not only in the final presentation. It is in the way students take ownership of their learning. It is in the way they engage with important issues. And it is in the way they begin to understand that knowledge can lead to action.
Through the PYP Exhibition, AISG Grade 5 students are not simply completing a project. They are learning how to investigate, reflect, communicate, and contribute–skills that matter not only in school, but far beyond graduation.
