EdTechGZ 2026: Engagement for All
AISG’s most anticipated annual event in educational innovation and technology made a triumphant return last Saturday — and it was massive. EdTechGZ 2026 welcomed over 650+ attendees, cementing its place as one of South China’s largest, most inspiring free educational technology conferences.
The event was attended by educators from all over China and educators even traveled from schools as far as Australia, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines, the UK, and the US!
The theme of the conference was Engagement for All and the focus was for educators to come together and share their expertise in technology and design innovation that are used in classrooms to support education. This year, 135 educators stepped forward as presenters, presenting sessions related to:
• Transforming teaching & learning
• Purposeful technology use
• Artificial Intelligence in education
• Data-informed practice
• Student well-being & digital citizenship
• Leadership, culture, and change
• Collaboration and community
This year’s event featured two keynote speakers: Kristel Solomon and Jason Prohaska. Education consultant Kristel Solomon returned to AISG, exploring how identity, language, cultural norms, and ethnocentrism shape student safety, belonging, value, and voice. Jason Prohaska, a leader in AI, STEM, and digital education, challenged assumptions about the role of technology in learning, leaving audiences inspired to evolve classroom practice with intention and purpose.
In addition to the sessions, attendees had the chance to explore 25 partner booths showcasing innovative hands-on technology, including AR, VR, and CAD. These technologies offer diverse ways to enhance classroom learning. Thank you to our partners who make it possible for attendees to join the event for FREE every year!

The event also served as a fantastic opportunity for educators from various schools to connect and network. Attendees enjoyed a delicious barbecue lunch – a tradition now for many years, participated in the exciting lucky draw with amazing prizes - like an iPhone 17, a Macbook Air, DJI Neo 2 drone, Apple Watch, electric scooter, and more - and concluded the day with a social gathering that allowed for further mingling and fun.
Since its launch twelve years ago and now part of AISG’s Training Center, EdTechGZ is positioned as a flagship event for making a tangible impact in learning. The AISG Training Center offers high-quality professional learning opportunities alongside other trainings throughout the year, making it a true hub for educators and innovators that continues to spark collaboration, inspire practice, and build a vibrant learning community. Stay tuned — AISG has even more transformative events ahead!
