45 Years of Firsts: Moments of Trust in AISG

“AISG became the place where I learned, as a mother, to let go with peace, trust, and gratitude.” For Kidd Zhang, whose family has been part of AISG since 2001, her daughter's first day in PK is still a memory filled with emotion.
It was her daughters first time away from mom and dad. She arrived nervous and a little scared as she joined the Butterfly Class. But small acts of kindness quickly helped her feel safe.
Her teacher gave her a little doll for comfort. She met her first friend, Christina, who gently reassured her. What began with nervous tears slowly became warmth, friendship, and belonging.
“From my earliest memories of AISG until now, so much has changed. I grew from a full-time mom quietly standing outside the classroom doors into a room parent and volunteer, actively participating in school events and the AISG community. Along the way, AISG not only helped my child grow, but also helped me rediscover confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.”
The classrooms and activities may change, but the feeling remains the same: AISG feels like home.
